Community, it really matters
We are a family business, trying to make a difference in our local Logan community
Ronald McDonalds House South Brisbane
Ronald McDonald House South Brisbane provides accommodation for the families of seriously ill or injured children. Our Houses help to preserve the family unit in the midst of physical, emotional and financial stress and also gives parents the chance to draw hope and comfort from other families in similar situations while being supported by dedicated and friendly staff and volunteers.
Our son was unwell early after he was born and spent frantic months travelling far too specialist hospitals, so know the greatness of what this house does and the facilities they offer during an unsettling and worrying time for families.
What an amazing organisation, that Contemporary Cakes and Classes feel very part of. Over the last 10 years, all of the cakes Jackie uses and demonstrates in each class are delivered by Jackie or husband Matt and dropped off to the house and enjoyed by the families and staff.

The Australian-based charity Cake Angels brings a smile to the faces of sick children all over Australia with stunning donated cakes. If you ask a Cake Angel they will tell you - it’s not just frosting and sugar they put into their artfully decorated cakes. These artists are using cakes as a means to change the world.
The Australian-based charity connects either professional cake decorators or hobbyists with seriously ill children.

Healthy Harold is the mascot.
What a wonderful organisation and was contacted for a product donation for a raffle prize and met with one of the lovely staff who spoke about the 30th year birthday of this organisation.
I suggested this great occasion would they like a gifted cake? and it was a yes!
We had fun driving down the Gold coast with Harold sitting in the back of a large box!
