I have been trying to decide what to do with my future. Despite having run a very successful business for 21 years and having the last five years off I was feeling a little lost. I needed to decide if my passion for cake making and decorating was going to be more than just a hobby. I went along to your information session to work out what was involved to make my hobby a business venture.

I engaged Jackie from Contemporary Cakes and Classes to advise me on the council requirements and the application process to having my home based cake business licenced.
I decided to have a 1 on 1 session where Jackie came to my home and we worked through what was expected of a home based kitchen with Brisbane City Council.
Jackie had very helpful suggestions to minor works I needed to carry out on my home. During the consultation, we reviewed the application process and record keeping paperwork required to be certified.
Jackie was knowledgeable and helpful and answered all my questions. During the application process Jackie was also a big help with extra phone calls for advise and clarification on some tricky council questions.
