Wedding Cake at Versaces August 2011


Dear Jackie

Thank you so much for the beautiful cake that you made for us on our special day. It was gorgeous, delicious and was definiately talked about at our wedding. We received so many compliments all throughout the night! We still have the top tier left to enjoy. Everytime we see images of our cake, we smile because it is so beautiful and we loved it! It was everything that we hoped for. Thank you once again and we can't wait to come to you with our next big idea!

This cake was 9 tiers in height, 2 tiers were double stacked.The cakes were covered with white sugar paste with a yellow piped brushed embroidery design, inspired from the brides wedding gown.
50 handmade sugar roses and 45 Phaelonopsis sugar orchids were used in the cascading design.The Versaces ballroom was totally befitting to the design and grandness of this cake.This is my biggest cake yet!

Dear Jackie,

Thank you so much for making Stuarts cake, so individual and delicious.
It was a hit at the party and one of the highlights that turned into his birthday week.

Stuart is my  wonderful electrician and so I personalised his 40th Birthday  cake around his job.

To make it  fun I modelled a microwave with a dinner plate of spaghetti and meatballs,that he uses every day to reheat his lunch in,  his bucket of tools, his warning signs and modelled a huge cable of electrical  wire as cake for the model of him to sit on.
I even made his safety boots and uniform with his logo to match.
