Dear Jackie,
Matthew and I would like to take this opportunity to tell you just how thrilled we were with the Wedding Cake you designed for our November nuptials. At our first meeting I only had a very rough idea of what I wanted my Wedding Cake to look like. After browsing through your website and viewing photographs in your studio we were able to put together the perfect design.
I only wanted a simple cake as I decided the Bride & Groom figurines were going to be the standout feature. After all of the choosing and planning, we have to say Jackie that your "creation" well and truly exceeded our expectations. The handmade figurines were absolutely exquisite. I couldn't believe the attention to detail that went into matching the beading on my dress, the veil, my hairstyle, the colour of the flowers, and even the Groom's tie so perfectly! They were truly mini replica's.. and have become an ornamental keepsake among Wedding Photo's we have on display. The cake itself was exquisite, elegant and simple with subtle features just as we'd hoped.
Our choices of Coffee & Walnut, Chocolate Mud and Fruit Cake from the array of options availabe went down a treat. Even the most Senior (and toughest) critics at our reception commented that it was the best Fruit Cake they had ever tasted. I know it sounds as if I'm raving, but we honestly believe that credit should be paid where it is well and truly due. Your service was fantastic, your communication brilliant and the product itself unbeatable. Thank-you Jackie so much not only for providing us with the truly perfect Wedding Cake, but for being such a wonderful person to deal with. You'll be hearing from us again before the next big event (hopefully a Baby Christening) so we can order another one of your masterpieces to share with all of our friends.

Your services had been a tops. Also the cake that you had prepared was a blessing and not only the design but the taste topped it off. I was surprise to be invited to your place for payments and you were able to take a late visit from me.
In near future I have you making my other cakes and I've received a the word from the wedding party that this was the best cake EVER. So thank you very much and you are very patience.

I have used Jackie/s services of Contemporary cakes and Catering several times over the last year.
Firstly was in November 2007 when I launched my stores Christmas products and invited customers to browse my Christmas range of gifts and products with a few nibbles and glass of bubbly.
Jackie provided tapas mini chicken and asparagus pastries, filo tarts with red onion marmalade and brie , avocado pate with bruschettas. Mini chocolate muds and strawberry tarts.
All very delicious by the way!
Jackie also advertised her Christmas cakes , Lemon meringue pies and banoffee pie, pecan pies and sherry trifles. She took orders at the store and my customers have said how delicious they all were.
My husband’s birthday was also catered for and Jackie delivered and set it up at my home and loaned me her lovely china and dishes. Honey glazed ham, beautiful Lasagne and a filo pastry brie, capsicum and pesto tart, mixed leaf salad and her great tasting coleslaw.
A lemon meringue pie finished the banquet!
Jackie has also made my granddaughter birthday cake ,which we held at Daisy Koala Centre and we had to have a Banoffee pie (for the grown ups !)
I recommend Contemporary cakes and Catering as Jackie produces quality tasting food and Cakes.

This crate champagne cake was all made with cake. The
grapes and vine leaves were made from sugar paste. Sugar paste was draped to represent tissue paper and a real bottle of champagne was placed on top with a personalised photograph label.

Even though I was in Cairns it felt as if you were just around the corner as you walked me through the process of ordering a beautiful birthday cake for my eldest daughter who was visiting Brisbane.
At first I thought of a simple cake however once I saw examples of your cakes on your website, I got carried away and my order became a little more elaborate, only to take your advice and end up with something completely out of my imagination. But you think I was impressed? Well my daughter couldn’t believe that being in Cairns, I had arranged something so pretty and lovely from Brisbane to be delivered to her.

Hi Jackie
Thank you so much for a wonderful cake for our wedding. The caramel and choc stacked mud cake was a visual delight. The puppies you skilfully designed with our very basic description was a visual masterpiece!!! The brilliance didn't stop there, with the awesome taste and above and beyond service you provided, our wedding cake was the least of our worries on our special day.
We still have part of the wedding cake frozen snugly in our freezer and look forward to some more tasty delight. We highly recommend Jackie to anyone looking for that perfect cake with the perfect taste. Jackie's friendly demanour and nothings to much trouble approach makes a sometimes stressful time hassle free.

Jackie created my 20th Birthday cake and it was defiantly a beautiful high light and addition to my party. It made my night "just that bit more" special. Jackie created exactly what i had asked for tailoring it to my personality wanderfully, and it was a talking point of the night.
